Atalanta star Giacomo Bonaventura is unsure if he’ll stay at the club in the upcoming 2014/2015 season, amid serious interest from Fiorentina.

The 24-year-old Italian international Bergamo club netted seven goals in 35 games with La Dea in the 2013/2014 season, and has reportedly caught the eye of several clubs including La Viola.

Speaking to TuttoJuve, Bonaventura said that he has no idea whether or not he’ll ply his trade in Bergamo in the upcoming season, but emphasises that he will remain professional and give his all for the Orobici.

I do not know if I’ll stay a day, a month or my whole career here,” said Bonaventura.

“But as long as I wear the Atalanta shirt I will continue to be as professional as I always have, and to honour the jersey.

It is also worth mentioning that reports emerged of late indicating that Bonaventura is close to finalising a deal with the Viola, but negotiations have slowed down.
