Benitez - NapoliNapoli coach Rafa Benitez has reiterated his commitment to the club despite not wanting to comment on whether he will sign a contract renewal to remain in Naples beyond the upcoming campaign.

The 54-year-old described any discussion over his long-term future as ‘risky’ after an ill-fated spell in charge at Inter in 2010 where he lasted just six months after falling out with then owner Massimo Moratti.

“Speaking at the beginning of the [season] about my future seems risky,” Benitez told 360 Gradi.

“I will always give 100% for my team, for my club and for these fans. Until the end.

With the Partenopei expected to challenge for the Scudetto this season, the Spaniard praised president Aurelio De Laurentiis’ work in the transfer market as they look to challenge Juventus.

“Taking a team like Napoli and have economic stability and be competitive is not always easy,” stated Benitez.

“Everyone wants to spend so much to buy players but the market is not easy, when I and the president are in total harmony we are going to buy.”
