Cagliari have announced the signing of young striker Alessandro Capello from Bologna.
The 18 year-old made his senior debut in a Coppa Italia tie with Livorno before joining Inter in June 2013.
Having only just returned to the Emilia-Romagna side in recent weeks, the youngster has now moved to Sardinia as was revealed on Cagliari’s official website.
“Cagliari Calcio would like to announce the purchase of Alessandro Capello from Bologna outright,” the statement read.
The Rossoblu have relinquished their ownership of the 21 year-old defender Mario Oikonomou who will join Bologna.
With Victor Ibarbo rumoured to be leaving Cagliari there is a chance Capello could become a first team player.
Capello scored 20 goals for Inter’s Primavera last season and has appeared regularly for Italy at youth level.
