Napoli forward Jose Callejon is happy with how his first season in Italy went but wants to repay the faith coach Rafael Benitez has shown in him by scoring more goals.
The forward scored an impressive 15 goals in his debut season with Napoli but feels there is more success to come on both a personal and team level.
“I hope to score more goals next season but the league is our real objective,” he told Marca.
“To win the league we must not lose points to small teams as those are the points which weigh in at the end of the season.”
Napoli qualified for the Champions League thanks to a top-three finish and Callejon is looking to go further than the group stage this time around.
“We are ambitious and want to do well in Europe, although it will not be easy to achieve our dream because there are so many strong teams.”
