Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is raring to go for another season with the Old Lady, and is adamant the club can continue to reach great heights under new coach Massimilano Allegri.
Speaking after his return from holiday following a tumultuous World Cup with Italy, the 29-year old has assured Juventus fans of another great season.
“It’s been a very intense last months,” he told Sport Lobster.
“Then there was the unexpected departure of Conte, but a now a new adventure has now begun with Allegri.
“For my part, there is a great desire to pursue the path of recent years and continue to gain great success with this shirt, with great humility and self-sacrifice.”
The experienced defender has made over 250 appearances for the Bianconeri, and is set to again feature heavily in Allegri’s plans for the coming season.
