AC Milan midfielder Valter Birsa is set to move to Chievo Verona on loan for the 2014-15 season.
New Rossoneri coach Filippo Inzaghi had reportedly told the player that he would not be part of his plans next season and the Flying Donkeys have swooped in to add to their squad following the arrival of Maxi Lopez earlier in the week.
According to Milannews.it, the Venetian outfit has opted against any redemption option so the Slovenian will return to Milan at the end of next season.
In his maiden campaign at the San Siro, Birsa managed 10 Serie A appearances and scored two goals, both stunning left-footed strikes from outside the box.
