David Pizarro FiorentinaDavid Pizarro is reportedly set for crunch talks with Fiorentina as he looks to gain clarity over his future.

It was previously speculated that the Chilean midfielder may leave the club, but has now agreed to listen to the Viola’s offer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, it is likely that the 34-year-old will accept a new deal and remain with the Gigliati for another season at least.

Pizarro arrived at the Artemio Franchi in 2012 from Roma after he was loaned out to Manchester City during the second half of the 2011-12 season, where he bagged a Premier League winner’s medal before securing a move to Firenze.

He has also played for Inter and Udinese as well as picking up 40 caps for his country.
