Napoli striker Duvan Zapata admits it’s up to the club to decide what to do with him, but he would prefer to stay at the Partenopei this season.
The 23-year old Colombian had a solid debut season in the Serie A, netting five goals in 16 league appearances for his side.
His future has been put in some doubt this summer however, with the club rumored to be intent on loaning him out for regular first team football.
“I want to stay in blue, but it is clear that the club will decide what to do,” Zapata admitted to TuttoNapoli.net.
“Last year’s goal in the Champions League against Marseille? I will never forget it. It was an opportunity that I was able to take advantage of, it was beautiful.”
Zapata has strongly been linked with a move to Europa League contestants Torino in recent weeks.
