D'Ambrosio - InterWhile enjoying his first pre-season with Inter, Danilo D’Ambrosio has insisted that the Nerazzurri will be looking to improve on last year’s fifth position.

Having signed from Torino during the last campaign, the full-back failed to establish himself in Walter Mazzarri’s side before the end of the season.

“It was important to begin training immediately with my the team and my team-mates,” he admitted to Sky Sport outside Inter’s training camp in Pinzolo. “The difference can be seen immediately.

“Although we are a young side,” he went on to concede, “we are hungry to do well on the pitch.”

He also spoke a little about the versatility he possesses, which means he can fill many roles within the team.

“To me it makes no difference,” the former Granata man claimed, “right, left, three or four, the important thing is the attitude we take to the field.”

“Our goal is to improve,” he concluded, “last year we finished fifth, and this year we’re hoping to do better.”
