New Inter defender Dodo has revealed that the Biscione supporters have given him a warm welcome and admits that he’s happy to be a part of Walter Mazzarri’s squad.
The 22-year-old recently completed a loan move to the Nerazzurri from Roma that will last two seasons, with the Milan side having the option to permanently sign him in 2016, and he has insisted that he’s excited to begin his new journey with the club.
Dodo spoke to Inter Channel after his first training session in Pinzolo about the great welcome he’s received from the team’s fans and expressed his hopes to gain even more support throughout the 2014-15 season.
“I’m happy here, it’s all been happening so fast. I’m especially pleased after my first workout with my new team-mates,” said the Brazilian, who made 19 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi last season.
“Have my team-mates told me about pre-season camp? Yes, they’ve told me a bit about it.
“I’m happy the fans have given me such a warm welcome and sent all those messages. I hope to feel their support for the entire season.”
