Fiorentina are close to sealing a move that would see them land Botafogo’s Octavio on loan for next season.
The youngster is set to undergo medicals with the Viola after which he will sign a contract to begin his journey in the peninsula.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Gigliati would then hold an option to purchase the 20-year-old Brazilian for €2 million at the end of the 2014-15 season.
Octavio is considered a natural talent capable of bursting into life as a trequartista.
He scored once in 17 appearances for Botafogo in the Brazilian first division before moving to ABC on loan and recording six goals in five outings with the Brazilian Serie B side.
