Fiorentina are interested in signing Udinese left wing-back Pablo Armero this summer.
The 27 year old Colombian international enjoyed a brilliant World Cup campaign with his country but endured a miserable season at club level last season first with Napoli, and then West Ham.
According to tuttoudinese.it, Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella is extremely keen on bringing Armero to Florence to add some quality to the left wing and has instructed his directors to begin negotiations.
Udinese bought him outright last month after previously co-owning him with Napoli, but would not be adverse to selling him if a suitable offer came along.
Armero has also been linked with English Premier League outfits Arsenal and Southampton in the last week.
