Fiorentina may allow Spanish winger Joaquin to make a move back to his boyhood club Real Betis for a discounted fee.

The 32 year old Spanish international only made the move to Florence from Malaga last season but has never hid the fact that he wants to close out his playing days at the club he started his career.

Estadiodeportivo.com report that Betis are hoping that Joaquin can convince the Viola to drastically drop their price-tag so Betis can afford him.

Betis were relegated from La Liga last season, and would have trouble matching Fiorentina’s €2 million valuation of the player given their financial situation at present.

Joaquin is idolized by Betis fans, having come up through the Betis youth system and subsequently making 218 appearances for the first team between 2000-2006.
