Brazilian side Flamengo are unwilling to finance a move for AC Milan’s unsettled forward Robinho.

The striker is widely expected to move away from the peninsula, but the financial department of the South American club have considered the prospective transfer to be impractical.

According to ESPN.com.br, it is now up to Major League Soccer expansion franchise Orlando City to prise the 30-year-old away from Milan.

Santos were previously interested in the player’s services but it is now believed they also cannot afford the player.

Orlando have already signed former teammate Kaka this summer as they prepare for their debut season in the United States’ top flight.
