Mirko Vucinic has confirmed his departure from Juventus to join UAE Arabian Gulf League club Al Jazira while taking time to thank the Bianconeri fans for their support.

The Montenegro international spent 14 seasons in Italy where he enjoyed success at Lecce and Roma before a 15 million move to Juventus in 2011.

Playing an integral role in leading Juventus to three consecutive Serie A titles and two Supercoppa Italiana, Vucinic took time to thank the Juve supporters for his time and success at the club ahead of his new adventure.

“The goals, assists and records do not count,” Vucinic wrote on his official Facebook page.

“Nor do the defeats and disappointments. The only thing that matters is being part of something important called Juve.

“That is how you write history and we wrote it together for three years. Indelible emotions.”

“Thank you to everyone for everything!”

Vucinic’s three year stay in Turin saw the 30 year old striker net 21 times in 74 league matches for the Bianconeri.
