The agent’s of Inter defender Hugo Campagnaro will meet with Genoa officials on Monday to try and thrash out a deal for the veteran defender.
Having arrived from Napoli along with coach Walter Mazzarri just last season, the Argentine’s departure looks likely with the player’s agents Alejandro Mazzoni and Pierpaolo Triulzi set to meet representatives from Genoa to negotiate personal terms.
Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that the only possible holdup over a deal is the 34-year-old’s wages though a possible solution could be reached if Inter agree to contribute a part of the defender’s salary.
Turkish club Besiktas, who have had a long-standing interest in Campagnaro’s Inter teammate Matias Silvestre, have also being linked with a move for the former Azzurri defender.
