AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insisted that Mario Balotelli will stay with the Rossoneri for the 2014-15 Serie A season despite speculation linking him with a move away with Premier League side Arsenal often mentioned as a possible destination.

Galliani also spoke about Alessio Cerci and Joel Campbell as possible transfer targets and the seemingly imminent departure of Robinho.

“Mario [Balotelli] is training like the other players,” said Galliani according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He never asked to be sold. He will stay at Milan.

“You can never be 100 per cent certain in the transfer market but there’s a 99.9 percent chance he will stay.”

Galliani also admitted that the Rossoneri are looking at Arsenal’s Joel Campbell and Torino’s Alessio Cerci but they are merely two names on the shortlist.

“They have the characteristics that our coach likes but so do many other players,” he continued.

The 69-year-old also added that Robinho’s future should be sorted out in the near future.

“There are some offers and more will arrive on Monday [July 28].

“We are convinced that we can find a solution.”
