Genoa are eyeing a swoop for Fiorentina central defender Facundo Roncaglia this summer.
The 27 year old Argentinian international was subjected to limited game-time last season and has been deemed expendable if the right offer comes along.
According to Sport Italia, Genoa are in the market for a defender and have targeted Roncaglia as one of the names with who they wish to strengthen their backline.
The Grifone would rather offer a deal that would see the player arrive on an initial loan with an option to buy, but the Viola would rather sell him permanently.
Any deal may have to wait however as the defender is currently on tour in South America with Fiorentina.
