Napoli are planning to contact the agent of German defensive midfielder Christoph Kramer in the coming days to assess the feasibility of a potential transfer.
The 23-year-old Bayer Levekerusen man has been linked with a move to the Partonopei throughout the summer, though a deal has been denied by the German club.
Tuttomercatoweb report that the Naples club have proposed a five year contract with an annual salary of €1.7 million, plus bonuses, with the Partenopei looking to contact the player’s agent to see if a deal can be worked out.
However, it is thought that Bayer Leverkusen are reluctant to sell the 2014 World Cup winner, and have placed an approximate €12m valuation on him.
Kramer spent the past season on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach, where he made 33 appearances and scored three goals.
