Pablo Osvaldo has edged closer to a move to Inter from Southampton, after it has been revealed that the player agreed to personal terms with the Nerazzurri.

The Italian international has been officially put up for sale by the Southampton, his boss Ronald Koeman confirmed, after the striker returned late for pre-season duty.

Sport Italia report that Inter will attempt to negotiate an appropriate fee for the striker with the English club, after the player gave the OK to the move.

Inter boss Walter Mazzarri has also given his blessing for the deal to be done, so talks should accelerate in the next week or so.

Manchester City’s Stefan Jovetic was also a target for Inter, but it looks like the Nerazzurri have opted for the controversial Osvaldo.
