Inter are continuing negotiations with Portuguese giants Porto for the permanent signing of defender Rolando.

The 28 year old Portuguese international spent last season with the Nerazzurri, and performed well with both the club and player publicly stating their intention to make the loan move into a permanent one.

Inter, however, have struggled to match the demands Porto have put on Rolando forcing the defender to return to the Portuguese club a week ago.

As reported by FcInterNews.it, Inter’s offer of 3.5 million did not meet the 5.5 million requested by Porto but the latest reports suggest that Porto is willing to compromise and accept a bid of 4.5 million for the talented defender.

It remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri will adhere to Porto’s latest demands, but they must act quickly with Besiktas interested in landing Rolando’s signature.
