Inter are reportedly close to signing Southampton striker Pablo Osvaldo.

The Southampton man has failed to report for pre-season training and a move away from the St. Mary’s seems imminent, with Inter being the most possible destination.

According to the Nerazzurri’s official website, Inter are in pole position to sign the forward as a move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza would suit both parties.

It is also worth mentioning that Osvaldo moved to Southampton from Roma in August 2013 for a club record fee of €15.1 million, but spent half of the 2013/14 season on loan at Juventus, netting three goals including one against ex-club Roma.
