Inter are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic ahead of the 2014-15 season.

The 21-year-old, who arrived at City from Fiorentina for a fee of around €15 million in August 2012, has also been linked with a return to the Viola as well as a possible transfer to Roma or Arsenal in recent weeks, though the Nerazzurri are now apparently heavily interested in adding him to Walter Mazzarri’s squad.

According to the Daily Star, Inter are targeting the Serbian as a replacement centre-back for Rolando, as the Portuguese defender is seemingly on the verge of making his exit from the San Siro outfit this summer.

Reports also suggest that the Biscione would have to be willing to meet Manchester City’s estimated asking price of €18 million to secure Nastasic’s services in the coming weeks.

The former Gigliati man provided one assist in his 13 Premier League appearances for the Citizens last term.
