Inter winger Ezequiel Schelotto could join Premier League side Southampton as part of the deal bringing Pablo Dani Osvaldo to Milan.

Inter are on the verge of sealing a deal for former Juventus and Roma strike Osvaldo, a loan deal with a view to a €7 million deal next summer having been agreed, but the deal hinges on Saphir Taider moving on loan in the opposite direction, a move the Algerian is apparently against and is stalling on.

This has prompted Inter to look at other solutions, with Sky Sport Italia reporting that Schelotto has been suggested and has gone as far as to agree to the transfer as he searches for game time this season, though interest within Italy remains strong for the former Atalanta man.

Inter, however, may be reluctant to include the right winger or wingback in any deal as they had planned to use him in a deal for Parma’s French right winger Jonathan Biabiany, who the Nerazzurri have been tracking all summer, while both Genoa and Sampdoria continue to monitor Schelotto, having had bids rejected earlier this summer.

Argentine born, Italian international winger Schelotto spent last season away from the Nerazzurri, first at Sassuolo where he made 12 appearances and scored one goal, before a more successful loan spell at Parma in the second half of the season, making 13 appearances and having all round improved displays from the right wing.
