New AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi is keen to bring Domenico Criscito to the Rossoneri as he prepares for his debut season with the Italian giants.

The Zenit St. Petersburg full back has spent the last three years at the Russian club since his €11 million move from Genoa in June 2011 where he penned a five year contract but the Milan club are looking to bring him back to the peninsula.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport there have been initial talks between the Rossoneri and the player’s agent, but as of yet there has been no official meeting between the Diavolo and Zenit.

With the San Siro club looking to cut down the price tag, a swap deal involving Ignazio Abate may be a possibility.

Criscito has scored four goals in 74 appearances for the Russian giants since his move.
