Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic is a man in demand after Juventus joined Inter in the chase for the Montenegrin’s signature.

Jovetic only moved to Manchester from Fiorentina a year ago for a fee believed to be around €26 million, but following a season blighted by injury in which the 24 year old made just 13 appearances, City may wish to recoup some money for the exciting forward.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus, who tried to sign the striker last summer, have re-entered the chase for his signature, with Inter widely reported to have been chasing the player for the last month.

Juventus still maintain good contacts with Jovetic’s agent Fali Ramadani, and are believed to have contacted him over the former Fiorentina mans current situation and have been asked to be informed if he is willing to leave City.

The Bianconeri face strong competition from the Nerazzurri though, with Inter director Pierro Ausilio guaranteeing yesterday that a forward will arrive before the end of the transfer window and Jovetic believed to be highly thought of by Inter owner Erick Thohir.
