The 23 year old versatile midfielder moved to Stadio Friuli in 2011 from River Plate for a transfer fee of €2 million and went on to feature in close to eighty games for the side from Udine.
Juventus confirmed on their official website that they had acquired Pereyra on loan for a fee of €1.5m while also giving the details of the signed contract between the two parties in concern.
“Pereyra joins Juventus as the Argentine midfielder signs for the club on a one-year loan deal from Udinese, with the option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign,“ read a statement on the club’s official website.
”Juventus Football Club can today announce that Roberto Maximiliano Pereyra has completed a move to the club after terms were agreed with Udinese on a one-season loan deal for a fee of €1.5m.”
“The agreement includes the option for Juventus to make the deal permanent at the end of the 2014/15 campaign for a price of €14m, to be paid over the course of three years.
“This fee could be increased by €1.5m should Pereyra achieve certain predefined sporting targets by 30 June 2020.”
Pereyra featured in 36 games in the Serie A last season scoring twice and providing six assists.
