Richmond Boakye had no hesitation in joining Atalanta on loan from Juventus and he cannot wait to fire for them.

Atalanta sealed an agreement to sign the Ghanaian striker last week, who is co-owned by Juventus and Genoa.

In interview with newspaper L’Eco di Bergamo, Boakye was quoted as saying, “I thank God for bringing me to a team like Atalanta who are serious and organized. I had already heard about them when I was young. Even in Ghana, Atalanta is well known. I did not think twice before joining them. ”

“Everything comes from work to those who are humble and religious. I will listen to the advice of those who are more experienced than me.”

In an attempt for regular playing time the 21-year old is heading out on loan as in the previous two seasons since signing for the Italian Champions.

He played at Sassuolo then Elche, where he scored 6 goals in 31 appearances in the 2013/14 season.
