Juventus are considering a move for Southampton’s attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez.
The 23 year-old Uruguayan joined the English Premier side in 2012 from Bologna for a reported fee of €14 million but it appears his time with the English club could be coming to an end.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, contacts have reconvened between the Bianconeri and the player’s agent about a potential deal. It’s thought he could fit well into new Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri’s preferred 4-3-2-1 system.
It’s expected that Southampton will be looking to recoup most of the €14m they paid for Ramirez so that could prove a stumbling block for any deal.
Ramirez made his full international debut for Uruguay in 2010 and has 31 caps to date but has yet to get on the scoresheet for the South Americans.
