Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus are considering a move for Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri.

Having already brought in Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata for a reported €20 million fee earlier this summer, it is thought that the reigning Serie A champions are keen to further bolster their attacking options.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus see Shaqiri as an ideal target and have been encouraged by the news that the 22-year-old Switzerland international could be ready to leave Germany in search of increased playing time after making just 17 Bundesliga appearances last season.

However, with Shaqiri’s stock rising dramatically on the back of a series of impressive performances for his country at the World Cup, Juventus will not be the only club tracking the starlet.

Other potential suitors rumoured to have shown an interest in the winger already this summer include Liverpool and Sevilla.

Ultimately, with just under two years remaining on his contract with the German champions, any potential move would undoubtedly entail a hefty transfer fee that would only be inflated further by his eye-catching displays in Brazil.
