Reports in Chile suggest that Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has already agreed terms on his move to Manchester United.

With speculation over the player’s future continuing to fill column inches worldwide, neither club has yet spoken decisively about the situation.

However, Chilean newspaper El Mercurio claim that 27-year-old Vidal has already verbally agreed terms with the Red Devils, negotiating a lucrative deal that would see him earn a staggering €350,000 per week.

In terms of a transfer fee, meanwhile, it is claimed that the English club are willing to offer Juventus €60 million to secure the player’s signature.

Having slumped to a seventh-placed finish under David Moyes last season, United have been linked with just about every high-profile midfielder in the world this summer and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward recently suggested that new manager Louis Van Gaal can call upon almost unlimited resources in his search for new players.

Ultimately, it will undoubtedly take a considerable sum to convince Juventus to part with one of their most prized assets.
