Fernando Felicevich, the agent of Chile and Juventus’ midfielder, Arturo Vidal reportedly had talks with Manchester United over a possible move for his client during the transfer window.

The 27-year could become the third major signing for the Red Devils, after the acquisitions of Luke Shaw and Hector Herrera so far this summer.

According to Daily Mail, Manchester United are hoping for a breakthrough in discussions over the €45 million transfer of Vidal, following the positive talks with his agent last Friday.

The player had undergone a knee surgery in May, but featured in the World Cup to help his country to reach the round of 16 phase of the tournament.

Vidal joined Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2011 and scored 28 goals in 95 appearances for the Old Lady.
