Turin giants Juventus are expected to sign Hellas Verona midfielder Romulo on Tuesday of next week.

27-year-old Brazilian born Romulo spent one season at Fiorentina after joining from Atletico Paranaense in 2012 but was loaned out to the Gialloblu last summer with an option to acquire half of his contract.

On the 14th of July, Verona acquired full ownership of Romulo.

According to reports from Tuttosport, the final details of the €7 million deal were agreed on Saturday with the player to sign on an initial €1m year loan deal with the other €6m to be paid next summer when the move becomes permanent.

Romulo is an Italian citizen after qualifying through his ancestry and was called up by ex-Azzurri coach Cesare Prandelli in April 2014 making the provisional 30-man squad for the Brazil World Cup. However, he was omitted from the final 23 for the tournament.
