Juventus new boy Alvaro Morata has learned that his knee injury picked up in training will rule him out for longer than expected.

The initial prognosis that came from the club afterwards estimated that they would be without the Spaniard for a month or so.

But Juventus have now confirmed that he will be out for up to two months after suffering a second degree injury to the medial ligament of his left knee.

He underwent an MRI scan on Tuesday at the Clinica Fornaca di Sessant where he was told that it will be at least 50 days before he can return.

The striker had only recently completed his move to the club from Real Madrid.
