Lazio’s pursuit of Feyenoord star defender Stefan De Vrij looks set to finally come to a successful conclusion.
The Biancocelesti have maintained a long-standing interest in the 22-year-old Netherlands international, and a deal looks likely to happen by Monday.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Lazio have offered €7 million to Feyenoord, but the Dutch giants are holding out for €9 million for their star.
Reports also suggest a compromise will be made on Sunday, with the go ahead to complete the transfer given a day later.
It is worth mentioning that English giants Manchester United looked set to intervene on Lazio’s parade, but their interest seems to have died down.
