Lazio have renewed the contract of 18-year-old Primavera striker Mamadou Tounkara.
Tounkara is a former Barcelona youth player that signed with the Biancocelesti in 2012 before making his first team debut last season against Bologna in May.
Il Tempo reports that the two sides have agreed on a five-year contract. The Senegalese player arrived on an initial three-year deal after being plagued by injury with Barcelona.
Lazio are also hoping to seal the renewal of midfielder Joseph Minala. The 17-year-old Cameroonian’s age came into question last year after photos of himself were posted on social media.
