Parma sporting director Pietro Leonardi has revealed that he has no intentions of leaving the Ducali this summer especially in the club’s current state.

The past few months have been rough for the Crociati after losing their spot in the Europa League for next season with Gialloblu president Tommaso Ghirardi even announcing his resignation from his position at the club, though Leonardi insists that his relationship with the team is still strong.

Leonardi spoke to the official Parma website about his future and was adamant that he will remain with the Italian side despite rumours claiming otherwise.

“I have already told everyone again and again that I will not leave Parma and now I’ll repeat it once more.

“I say this with respect of the ownership and of all the people who work with Parma every day, along with all of the fans.

“I have a strong relationship with this club, with the city of Parma and its people. Together we have done important things.

“I have never thought of leaving and I certainly would not have the mind to do it at a time like this.

“Hopefully this time I’ve been sufficiently clear. I will remain at Parma.”
