Inter defender Ibrahima Mbaye has revealed that he looks up to new Biscione team-mate Nemanja Vidic and believes the veteran has a lot to teach his peers.

The 19-year-old is currently with the Nerazzurri on their North American tour for the Guinness International Champions Cup and he admits that he’s looking forward to playing against some of the world’s biggest clubs as he tries to impress coach Walter Mazzarri ahead of the 2014-15 season.

Mbaye spoke to Inter Channel about the summer tour and what Vidic brings to Inter, while also wishing Alfred Duncan good luck after completing a loan move from the Milan side to Sampdoria.

“This North American tour is a good test,” said the Senegalese youngster. “It’s nice to play against big teams, it’s everyone’s dream.

“We will give our best throughout the tournament and try to reach the final.

“The new signings? Everyone here can only learn from someone like Nemanja Vidic, as both a man and a player. I’m watching him a lot, both on and off of the field.

“Yann M’Vila is a good guy as well, I speak French with him sometimes.

“Duncan? He is like a brother to me. I wish him the best of luck at Sampdoria.”
