Sampdoria boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has revealed that he will have his team treat every match the same and not worry about any specific opponents during the 2014-15 campaign.

The Blucerchiati will kick off the new season against Palermo on August 31 and the tactician wants his squad to give their all in every match throughout the campaign no matter which club they’ll be facing.

Mihajlovic spoke to Sampdoria’s official website about the Serie A fixture list for the new season and insisted that the order of opponents doesn’t make a difference as every team with have to go against one another at some point.

“The fixture calenders are all the same and the only time games become easy is when we’re finished with them,” said the 45-year-old.

“There are no easy or difficult matches. When you think a game will be easy then it becomes difficult, and vice versa.

“Even as a player I never put too much weight on the order of the enemy, sooner or later we will have to face each of the 19 teams, and what matters is to address each match as the same by always bringing our game and trying to win.

“The derby on the fifth match day? It’s an important event, one that everyone wants to play in, but we will prepare for it in the same way that we prepare for all of the other matches.”
