Lazio midfielder Joseph Minala has revealed that he’s willing to fight for a spot in the Aquilotti’s first team line up and hopes to remain with the club next season.

The 17-year-old, who moved up from the capital city club’s Primavera team to make three Serie A appearances last term, has insisted that he’s ready to do what it takes to impress coach Stefano Pioli and will compete for a place in Biancocelesti’s midfield.

Minala spoke to Lazio Style Radio about his love for Lazio and his strong desire to do well for the Italian club.

“I want to remain here despite the great competition and I’m ready to work hard so I can be prepared for when I’m called up to help the club,” said the Cameroonian youngster.

“I chose to play in this shirt because I love it and I think it gives me the ability to really play with anyone. The decision is ultimately up to the coach.”
