Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella says his side will be motivated for their opening round clash with Roma in the new Serie A season.
The official fixture list for this season came out on Monday, and the match of the opening round will see Fiorentina travel to Roma on August 31.
“Starting the championship against Roma is definitely challenging, but will also provide extra motivation for us,” Montella told Fiorentina’s official website.
“Equally challenging will be the trio of Inter, Lazio, then AC Milan, but as always, what happens on the pitch will determine how difficult the matches really are.“
