Taarabt AC MilanSerie A club Napoli has made English club Queens Park Rangers an offer for midfielder Adel Taarabt, who spent the second half of last season at AC Milan.

The 25-year-old Moroccan international is currently owned by the London-based club and he is one of the few players that the Partenopei are looking at to improve their attack.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli have offered €8 million for Taarabt and a response from the Londoners is expected in the next few days.

Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon has also been looking at Spanish forward Michu, who plays for English Premier League club Swansea City, and Genoa striker Alberto Gilardino.

Michu is predicted to arrive on a loan spell at Napoli whereas Gilardino is likely to move to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, making the purchase to buy Taarabt outright more probable.

Taarabt scored four goals in 14 matches for AC Milan in the second half of the 2013-14 Serie A season but the Rossoneri have not managed to buy him outright.
