The agent of Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho has confirmed that Napoli are interested in his client this summer.
The 24-year-old ex-Atletico Madrid player enjoyed a great campaign at La Roselada this past season, and has attracted the attention of the Italian giants.
“He’s a player that the Azzurri admire, and Napoli are working on it, but the deal could be difficult,” Camacho’s agent Antonio Sanz told Radio CRC.
“At the moment there is only interest from Napoli, but still no official inquiry or negotiation.”
Napoli recently completed a deal for another Spaniard in Swansea’s Michu, who joined on loan last week but are certainly in the market for a midfielder.
The Partenopei finished 3rd in Serie A last season, behind both Juventus and Roma.
