Lorenzo Insigne - NapoliLorenzo Insigne’s agent has denied a report that Arsenal has inquired about signing his client from Napoli.

Recent speculation suggested that Arsenal was readying a €25 million offer for the winger, but Insigne’s agent, Fabio Andreotti, denied the claims.

“We have not been contacted by Arsenal for Lorenzo Insigne and Napoli has not notified us of this interest,” Andreotti said in an interview with Radio Crc.

“Lorenzo is a target of several European sides so it wouldn’t surprise me if big clubs are interested in him.

“However, Napoli don’t want to put him in the market.”

Insigne gained attention for his play with the Italian youth teams and his two goals against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia final.

The Italian international made 36 appearances for Napoli in Serie A this past season, scoring three goals. He made the 23-man Azzurri squad for the World Cup and made a substitute appearance in the loss to Costa Rica.
