Diego LopezNapoli are reportedly considering a move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez this summer.

The 32-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Los Blancos in recent days, as the Spanish giants are apparently only focused on keeping Iker Casillas at the club ahead of the 2014-15 season, and it seems Partenopei boss Rafa Benitez could be interested in bringing him to the Neapolitan side.

According to Cadena Ser, Napoli are monitoring the Spaniard as a possible alternative to Pepe Reina should they not be able to secure the Liverpool man from the English team on a permanent basis during the summer transfer window.

Reports also suggest that the negotiation process for the Real Madrid man could be an easy one as he and coach Benitez are both represented by agent Manuel Garcia Quilon.

Diego Lopez began his second stint with the Merengues in January 2013 and secured 16 clean sheets in his 36 Primera Division appearances for them last term.
