Napoli have turned their attention to Lokomotiv Moscow midfield destroyer Lassana Diarra.
The Partenopei have endured a frustrating summer in trying to sign a central midfielder, and have now turned to the 29-year-old French international.
Sky Sport Italia report that Diarra is looking to leave the club after a series a disagreements with the head coach Leonid Kuchuk, and could be available for the right price.
Napoli could swoop in with an offer for the ex-Real Madrid man, with Napoli boss Rafa Benitez keen to get his squad sorted out as soon as possible.
Diarra only joined the club from fellow Russian side Anzhi last season, but could be on the move again.
