New Inter signing Nermanja Vidic has revealed his excitement at getting his adventure with the Nerazzurri under way in their pre-season tour of the USA.
The former Manchester United skipper is on tour with the club as part of the 2014 International Champions Cup, a friendly association tournament with eight big clubs around the world competing.
“It’s really amazing to be here in the States,” he told the press.
“I can not wait to start the International Champions Cup, and other major challenges in Europe.
Vidic was also full of praise for coach Walter Mazzarri, who has been influential in ensuring the Serbian’s move has been as seamless as possible.
“Mazzarri is a great coach who works hard and it is a pleasure to have him as a coach.
“I have immediately settled in here.”
