Brazilian star Oscar has told reporters that losing their second successive game is a ‘bad feeling’ after being thumped 3-0 by the Netherlands.

The Selecao were previously humiliated and dumped out of the tournament by Germany in a 7-1 thrashing  in the semi-finals but the result tonight has rubbed salt in the wounds as the hosts failed to clinch third place.

“It’s a horrible feeling. I don’t even know what to say,” he told reporters after the game.

“We played well but it wasn’t our day.

“It was always going to be tough after conceding after two minutes.

“We had chances but we were unable to get back into the game.”

Oscar could well have won a penalty with the score at 2-0 but he was instead wrongly booked for diving in what was a disappointing World Cup for him and Brazil.
