Ante Rebic - CroatiaFiorentina are considering sending young striker Ante Rebic on loan to Parma following his return from his post World Cup holiday.

Rebic signed for La Viola last summer from RNK Split in his native Croatia for a fee believed to be around €4.6 million, but failed to break through to the first team despite the injuries to fellow strikers Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi, making only four appearances in his first season.

And according to TuttoMercatoWeb, Parma have made their interest in the twenty year old, who made three substitute appearances for Croatia in the World Cup, known to his parent club while negotiating a return for fellow Fiorentina player Mattia Cassani, who spent last season on loan at the Stadio Tardini.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella wants to give young Italian forward Federico Bernardeschi an opportunity this season, which would limit Rebic’s opportunities even more and so a loan would benefit all parties.

Parma have already strengthened their forward line by re-signing Ishak Belfodil from Inter, but with the possibility of Antonio Cassano departing the club, more striking reinforcements are assured.
