signing Roberto Pereyra expressed his strong motive behind joining the reigning Italian Champions from Udinese.

The 23 year old Argentine joined the La Vecchia Signora on loan for a fee of €1.5 million that expires in June 2015 but can be redeemed by Juventus for a future fee of €14m at the end of the upcoming season.

Pereyra had expressed a strong desire during the transfer market to move to Juventus and during his presentation he gave his reasons for joining the most coveted team in Italy.

My agent told me of Inter’s interest, he admitted. But, I was relaxed.

I chose Juventus because it is a great club that does everything to win. There are players here who have won it all. After a week, more players will come in to start training and I will try to learn from them.

I am yet to speak with Massimiliano Allegri, but we will talk soon. The team is full of great players, so I will train hard to be always ready when the coach relies on me.

I am extremely proud to be here.

Pereyra also suggested the area in which he feels he should improve while also declaring the jersey number he will be wearing.

I am working on scoring more goals in my game now,” he continued. “I will be trying to get closer to the goal and hope to score more goals this season.

I always train for the role the coach wants me to employ. Whether that is on the wing or occupying a more central position, I do not have any preferences. I just want to make myself available to the coach at all times to help the team.

I will wear the 37 shirt as it is the number I have always had.
